1601: In New Spain, a native Spanish emigrant "Cumbres Mayores, Helva”, set in the city of Los Angeles (now Puebla) A pork butcher, starting a family tradition that would transcend through the ages.
1837: José María Lozano bought a ranch in Tenextepec located in Atlixco, Puebla.
1970: Thanks to the tradition begun in 1601, recent generations start breeding and fattening pigs Tenextepec old ranch in the town of Atlixco.
1983: Born in Puebla Foods RYC establishing a small plant cutting and opening of the first butcher shop.
1984: Processes pork sausages begin.
1994: Inauguration of our meatpacking plant certified TIF 142.

2004: Franchise system is developed, opening our first franchised unit.

2011: Goes on sale the first production of RYC Foods “Arracheras”, plant located in San Antonio, Texas.
2013: New Certification FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) which supports the management of food safety.
